Manchester United have been in contact with the agent of Erling Haaland, Leeds have a full-back in their sights and Moussa Dembele is on the move, all in the Euro papers.
UNITED MAKE HUGE HAALAND OFFER
Manchester United have reportedly been issued a hammer blow in their pursuit of Erling Haaland.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was chasing the prolific forward last January. The pair worked together at Molde and Solskjaer flew out to see the 20-year-old after he blasted 29 goals in 27 games for RedBull Salzburg.
United though apparently baulked at his Mino Raiola’s fee involved in the deal for Haaland. Instead the Norwegian secured a move to Borussia Dortmund for just £17.2m.
Ed Woodward was also opposed to the insistence of Raiola that a release clause be inserted into his Old Trafford contract.
That clause has since been inserted into his deal at Dortmund. This states he can leave the Westfallonstadion in 2022 should any club match his £63m release fee.
Now Don Balon state that United have made contact with Raiola again over 19-goal Haaland. The source states that United have offered “almost double” the £63m buyout clause which does not come into effect until 2022.
Unfortunately though Raiola is not at all keen for his client to end up at Old Trafford after the whole Paul Pogba saga.
They claim “his relationship with the United board is not good” and suggest the player would rather move to Man City.
