Everton have lodged a surprise bid for a Juventus star, while one La Liga-based striker is attracted by interest from Spurs, according to Thursday’s European papers.
EVERTON BOOSTED IN AMBITIOUS STRIKER SWOOP
Everton have made an opening offer for Juventus starlet Moise Kean, according to reports in Italy.
Kean has just one year left on his contract, and despite an impressive season for the Turin giants, Juventus may consider selling him.
The striker has been disciplined while on international duty with the Italian Under-21 side, which has led to suggestions from Corriere Dello Sport that the Serie A champions are now thinking twice about how much they want to keep him.
In addition, the paper adds that Everton have made an official bid of €30m for the teenager, who has also been linked with Ajax.
His father has also revealed that Kean is an Inter Milan fan, although there seems to be no evidence of concrete interest from the San Siro club just yet.
KLOPP KEEN ON INTER ACADEMY ACE
Liverpool are continuing with their attempts to sign Inter Milan teenager Sebastiano Esposito this summer, according to a report.
The young forward, who impressed at the recent European Under-17 Championships, has shone at junior levels for Inter and despite his tender age has already represented the club’s first team.
Amid interest from the Reds and their Premier League rivals Manchester City, a report in May claimed that the Serie A side have no intentions of selling Esposito.
However, Inside Futbol are claiming that Liverpool still hold a strong interest in the player, but are joined by City and now PSG.
Italian outlet FcInterNews.it claim that the Ligue 1 giants have made a ‘sensational’ proposal to Esposito, which has prompted Inter to prepare a bumper three-year deal for when he turns 17.
Inter apparently ‘remain confident’ that Esposito will ‘not act against their interests’ and ask for a move before next season, while Hellas Verona and Brescia are keen on taking him on loan.
Esposito was hugely impressive for Inter in 2018-19, scoring 31 goals in just 38 appearances in all competitions.
