Waregem had a option to buy Larin in the deal which they were going to activate and then sell him on to Leeds. However, the coronavirus pandemic caused financial difficulties that scuppered the move. He has since become an ever-present in the Black Eagles’ starting XI, missing just a single league game through suspension. West Ham have recently been linked with the striker as they search for a replacement for Sebastien Haller, who departed for Ajax in the winter transfer window. Carlo Ancelotti has now thrown his hat in the ring as he is said to be looking for a back-up to Dominic Calvert-Lewin. Larin is the third top goalscorer in Turkey’s top flight. His goals have helped Besiktas to sit top of the league with 11 games of the season remaining.
