Speaking to in-house TV station MUTV (via the Daily Express) in the West Brom fallout, Maguire said: “Ever since other people from other teams spoke about us we’ve had absolutely nothing from the referee or VAR. “At the moment we’re playing without them so we’ve got to make sure we’re not leaving the game in the hands of the referee or the VAR.” Ferdinand endorses star’s Man Utd exit Meanwhile, Rio Ferdinand believes that Jesse Lingard should try and make his loan switch at West Ham into a permanent one this summer. The midfielder has made an impresive start to life in London, having joined the Hammers in January. Lingard scored twice on his debut in an away win over Aston Villa and starred again as the high-flying Hammers cruised a 3-0 win over Sheffield United on Monday evening. The England international needed game time, after falling out of favour with Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. So far, West Ham looks to be the perfect fit.
