Both Zakaria and Neuhaus are being viewed as replacements for Barcelona bound Georginio Wijnaldum. The Dutchman looks increasingly likely to run his contract down and leave on a free this summer. With that in mind, Liverpool are already on the hunt for his successor and Neuhaus, who has also been linked with Tottenham, could be the perfect. He is described as a box-to-box with better techincal skills than Zakaria, scoring four times this season. He also has four assists to his name. Given his age, and the fact he has already been capped three times by Germany, Neuhaus could be a fixture in the Reds midfield for years to come.
