After Dybala was forced to sit out the Bianconeri’s win over Crotone, club director Fabio Paratici said (via the Mirror): “Paulo still has a few problems – it’s like he’s on a swing. “Some days he’s better and others he’s worse. He seemed okay [last week], then he felt some pain again. “We have spoken [about this contract], we have been speaking and will continue to speak in the next few days and months.” The Argentine’s current deal isn’t due to expire until the summer of 2022. But for a player who has been a key cog at the club for some time, the need for multiple discussions over an extension is somewhat surprising.
