Back then, he was valued at around £30million, quite a bit more than Wolves are reportedly prepared to offer. According to The Athletic, the Villains are unlikely to pursue him in January, though. Meanwhile, former Celtic forward John Hartson has mooted that Edouard did want to leave Scotland in the summer. Speaking to the Times he said: “I think he might have had his heart set on leaving. “Having to get his mind right again, face another season with Celtic… it’s maybe affected him slightly. “But it was a difficult one for Celtic. Coady named in pundits’ team of the year

Wolves centre-half Conor Coady has been named in Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville’s Premier League team of the year.

The Sky Sports pundits said he had performed better than most other defenders in his position throughout 2020.
