As per the paper, they claim Johnstone is valued at around £7m by the Baggies. And while they don’t want to sell, they would be forced into his sale were they relegated. However, it’s suggested Johnstone could even be on the move in late January. West Brom have just seven points from their 14 games played so far. Were they to be further cut adrift by late January – and survival to look increasingly unlikely – then his exit could come about sooner. As per the report, both Leeds and Brighton are considering an approach. Leeds hope to offload Kiko Casilla and bring in Johnstone as cover and competition for the impressive Illan Meslier. The 20-year-old Frenchman has shone this season, but Leeds don’t have much depth or cover in his position. The Whites have also been linked with Manchester United’s Dean Henderson. Pundit wants Leeds to sign Divock Origi

Former Leeds United striker Noel Whelan feels Marcelo Bielsa should look to take Liverpool striker Divock Origi to Elland Road in January.

Origi, 25, has been with Liverpool since 2015 but has rarely been able to command a regular starting berth. Used mainly from the substitutes’ bench, he featured in 28 games during the Reds’ title-winning season of 2019-2020.
