Lingard is believed to earn £100,00 and the Old Trafford club want Sheffield United to pay the majority of that in any loan deal. Lingard teammates may still have a future While Lingard’s days at Man Utd look numbered, there could still be a future at the club for three others. Phil Jones and Sergio Romero have been frozen out after being left out of the squad list. Marcos Rojo, meanwhile, has struggled with injuries. Before the win at Sheffield United, Solskjaer gave an update on the trio. “Marcos has just felt a niggle in his calf again,” the United boss said of the defender, who spent a period on loan at Estudiantes. “He’s worked really hard to come back. He played a game with the reserves, got a knock there.
