Tottenham remain keen on a deal for €20m right-back, confirms Turkish boss Tottenham are trying to sign Lille right-back Zeki Celik, according to Turkish manager Yalcin Kosukavak. The Turkey international was interesting Jose Mourinho last season as he looked for a long-term replacement for the unsettled Serge Aurier. Spurs have since landed Wolves right back Matt Doherty, but according to Kosukavak Spurs are still keen on a deal for Celik. Speaking about Celik, Kosukavak told Ajansspor via Sport Witness: “When I spoke to Zeki, he told me Sevilla and Tottenham are interested in him. “Of course, Lille want compensation for him. If one of the interested clubs accept to pay the fee, then I think he could leave the club.” Kosukavak has apparently stayed in close contact with Celikm, whom he coached while they were together at Istanbulspor. The Yildirim-born defender moved from the Turkish club to the Ligue 1 side for €2.5m in 2018. The 23-year-old, who is under contract at the club until June 2023, has also been linked with AC Milan.     The Rossoneri, who are also admirers of Aurier, had targeted Celik as an alternative right-back option. Lille valued the player at €20m last October, according to Tuttosport. Celik has made four starts in the first five Ligue 1 games with Lille second in the standings. Tottenham chase Rudiger Tottenham are reportedly interested in making a surprise bid to try and sign centre-back Antonio Rudiger from Chelsea. The Germany international has been considering his future at Stamford Bridge after struggling for game time under Frank Lampard. Following Chelsea’s summer acquisition of Thiago Silva from PSG, Rudiger has not featured in the opening three Premier League games of the season. Indeed, Kurt Zouma, Andreas Christensen, Fikayo Tomori and Silva are all ahead of the 27-year-old in the pecking order. Sky Sports claims that Rudiger would consider a loan move to try and get more time ahead of the Euros next summer.
