Umtiti was a pivotal part of the French World Cup winning team in 2018, but a string of injuries has led to him slipping down the pecking order at the Nou Camp. The Spanish giants could now let the 26-year-old leave on a free after struggling to find a buyer.   Rodgers reignites interest in Tarkowski Leicester City have also revived their interest in Burnley centre-back James Tarkowksi, according to reports. Tarkowksi was among Leicester’s candidates to replace Harry Maguire following the England defender’s move to Manchester United last summer. However, the Foxes ultimately stuck with Jonny Evans and Caglar Soyuncu. Then, in January, Ryan Bennett arrived at the King Power Stadium on loan, but he has since returned to Wolves – meaning there is still a space for a defender in Rodgers’ squad. Leicester could go back in for a defensive reinforcement before this transfer window closes. And Tarkowksi has emerged on their radar once more.
