Still United have made another approach, but Coutinho is also believed to be of interest to Chelsea boss Frank Lampard, according to Sport. Chelsea are reported to have made contact with Barca over the terms of a potential deal and the London club have also contacted Coutinho’s representatives. The source claim Chelsea want to bring in Coutinho on loan with the option to buy, as Lampard looks to increase his midfield options at Stamford Bridge. Barca are believed to be open to the offer with club officials accepting that a permanent €90m sale of the Brazilian looks unlikely.
