Agent informs Liverpool of asking price for Werder Bremen forward Liverpool have been given something to ponder after being informed of the likely asking price Werder Bremen will be seeking for playmaker Milot Rashica this summer. Rashica, who moved to the German top flight from Vitesse Arnhem in 2018, has just over two years left on his current deal. The 23-year-old has scored 10 goals and assisted four others so far this season but has not found the net since December 14, with previous reports suggesting that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp ordered scouts to watch him in action. According to German website DeichStube, Rashica is eager to secure a move away and display his “class” elsewhere, having been unable to find his best form this term. Indeed, Bremen sporting director Frank Baumann told the website that while no decision has been made on the player’s future, talks with his agent midway through the season about an extension to his contract broke down. “No decision has yet been made and we have not yet negotiated with clubs,” Baumann said. “It is clear that players who have demonstrated something in sports will want to take the next step at some point. We have to be realistic about that. “In the first half of the season, he negotiated with Rashica’s consultant Altin Lana for an early extension of the contract. “In between, it is said to have looked quite good. But Baumann now explains: “We didn’t come together in the phase. At some point the sporting situation didn’t help us either. “If we were different in the table, it might look different.”   Now, Lana has informed clubs looking to prise his the 23-year-old away from Weserstadion this summer that they will have to pay €38m (£35m) for the star, as per a report in Gazeta Blic. Primarily used on the left-wing but also able to operate up front or in attacking midfield, Rashica has scored 10 goals and provided five assists in 24 appearances this season. But with his side in the relegation zone in the Bundesliga, they could be forced to cash in should they suffer the drop. Liverpool are being strongly tipped to do their shopping in the Bundesliga this summer with another report on Sunday claiming they were ahead of Arsenal in the hunt to sign a Eintracht Frankfurt defender nominated for Rookie of the Year last season.   The post Agent informs Liverpool of asking price for Werder Bremen forward appeared first on teamtalk.com. - SPORT BETTING

Liverpool have been given something to ponder after being informed of the likely asking price Werder Bremen will be seeking for playmaker Milot Rashica this summer.

“If we were different in the table, it might look different.”
