Attacking midfielder Smith Rowe spent the second half of last season on loan at Leipzig, and although that spell was disrupted by injury, they remain keen on working with the England Under-19 player again. Leipzig are interested in a permanent deal, but would accept him on another loan. Such a move would help Arsenal reach Leipzig’s demands of £92m for Upamecano, who is their main defensive target ahead of Juventus misfit Daniele Rugani – who has also been linked with a surprise move to Wolves.
