Paul Pogba is still pushing for an exit, but his two suitors have other priorities, while an Inter Milan winger has been made available for loan amid interest from Spurs and Arsenal – according to Wednesday’s European papers.
POGBA STILL PUSHING FOR EXIT, BUT FACES NERVOUS WAIT
Paul Pogba will not give up on his desire to leave Manchester United, but Juventus are focusing on their pursuit of Romelu Lukaku instead for the time being.
According to Tuttosport, Pogba is still pushing for an exit from Old Trafford, with a two-way battle between Real Madrid and former club Juventus expected.
However, both potential moves hinge on other transfers, as Juventus’ priority is currently to complete a deal for Pogba’s United teammate Lukaku.
As for Madrid, Marca say they are waiting for United to sign Christian Eriksen before launching a bid for Pogba.
Eriksen’s future remains uncertain amid links with a move away from Spurs, and he has been linked with Madrid and United.
If he does move to Old Trafford, that will give Madrid the all-clear to go for Pogba – with European clubs having until 2nd September to complete any deals.
