An offer closer to their £80million valuation could turn Palace’s heads, however, and would go some way to nullifying the 20% sell-on clause Manchester United inserted into Zaha’s contract when he re-signed for the Eagles in 2015. Zaha’s brother Judicael spoke to Sky Sports earlier, pleading for Zaha’s boyhood club to grant his wish to move to Arsenal. “Given all that Wilfried has given to Crystal Palace to help them remain a Premier League club, I hope Palace will be able to see their way to agreeing a deal with Arsenal that allows Wilfried to realise his dream of playing European football for the club he’s supported since childhood,” Judicael Zaha told Sky Sports. “Wilfried will always hold Crystal Palace and their fans in the highest regard and all the support they have given means the world to him. “It’s my brother’s dream though, to play for Arsenal.” Now Zaha himself has had his say, following on from the Ivory Coast’s 4-1 victory over Namibia at the AFCON. “I don’t know we’ll see in the future,” Zaha told the BBC. “I have no comment on it, the only thing that’s on my mind now is trying to win this cup. “I’m fixated on is how far we go in the tournament.” The post Wifried Zaha reacts to Arsenal’s stunted £40m pursuit appeared first on teamtalk.com.
