The report goes on to claim that a five-year deal has been agreed with the player and that the two clubs have settled on a fee of ’75 million euros plus bonuses.’ Milinković-Savić contributed a mere five goals and three assists in Serie A last season, totals that would need to increase should the midfielder expect to be a success at Old Trafford. Adding further fuel to the fire, multiple outlets have reported that Lazio have begun to line up replacements for Milinković-Savić. La Republica claim that the Biancocelesti have Trabzonspor midfielder Yusuf Yazici in their sights, while Gazzetta dello Sport (via Calciomercato) claim that Lazio have identified 18-year-old Hungarian starlet Dominik Szoboszlai as the ideal candidate. Szoboszlai currently plies his trade with Red Bull Salzburg and a fee of €20million is expected to be enough to seal the deal.
