Icardi still has two years to run on the five-year deal he signed in 2016, but is looking for a way out. A meeting has reportedly been scheduled between his wife and agent Wanda Nara and Inter CEO Beppe Marotta with the club hopeful that they can avoid a legal dispute. Icardi and Wanda have not been on favourable terms with Inter since he was stripped of the captaincy last season. Calciomercato suggest that Icardi’s only other transfer option is to move to Juventus, but they are The only other option seemingly for Icardi at present is Juventus, but they cannot make a signing until they offload Chelsea loanee Gonzalo Higuain. The forward has officially returned to Turin, but with a move to another Italian club unlikely, according to his agent and brother, Juve may well struggle to sell the 31-year-old.
