He then ‘outlined the short- term future to them’ and told them he is ‘prepared to get rid of half the team if he had to’ due to attitude problems. Solskjaer also reminded the Manchester United dressing room that if Manchester City fail to win the FA Cup, the club’s entire preseason schedule will have to be rearranged. If Watford win the FA Cup then United will drop into the second qualifying round of the Europa League, which coincides with when they are supposed to be playing Spurs in preseason.
