Juventus look to bring a Man Utd star into an Everton swap deal battle, while Arsenal look to sign a top free agent – both in all the latest Euro Paper Talk.
JUVE EYE MAN UTD, EVERTON SWAP FIGHT
Juventus are looking to bring Manchester United left-back Alex Telles into a swap deal tussle with Everton for midfielder Adrien Rabiot, reports claim.
Rabiot has been the subject of links with a move elsewhere since he moved from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2019. Indeed, Everton and United have both reportedly held interest in the 26-year-old. But despite a solid season under manager Andrea Pirlo, those links have resurfaced.
Calciomercato claims that the Toffees and Juventus have already worked on a deal involving Rabiot and striker Moise Kean.
Kean, who signed for Everton from Juve, struggled to adapt but has enjoyed sensational form this season on loan at PSG.
His future at Goodison Park remains unclear, but manager Carlo Ancelotti has reportedly given his approval to the idea of letting him move back to his former club in return for Rabiot.
Both clubs are eyeing a straight swap, valuing their players at €50million (£43million), therefore earning profits in the deal.
However, a separate report from Calciomercato claims that Juve are looking to bring United into a swap deal battle, with Telles the Red Devils star to be used as bait.
Telles reportedly wants to leave Old Trafford after only one season, due to his lack of action. The Portuguese has struggled for minutes, with Luke Shaw’s return to top form keeping him in the team.
As such, Juve are open to the idea of offering Rabiot to United in the hope of landing Telles, who would replace Alex Sandro in Turin.
Rabiot has made 40 appearances in all competitions this season, including 28 Serie A games.
