Reliable outlet ESPN state that Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan are among Lingard’s admirers. The trio are all “monitoring” Lingard’s situation with the player having just one year left on his contract at Old Trafford. Whether or not is fabulous form could see him reintroduced at Old Trafford is unclear. What is obvious is that West Ham “are keen to sign Lingard permanently at the end of the season”. There is also believed to be rival interest from the Premier League, including the top six. The report claims Lingard’s preference is to play Champions League football next season. And he could be offered that a West Ham with the hammers currently in fourth place with seven games remaining. Lingard’s future may also be delayed until after the Euros if he is selected in Gareth Southgate’s 23-man squad.
