Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal are tracking Red Bull Salzburg striker Patson Daka, according to an Austrian source.
Salzburger Nachrichten (SN) report that the Premier League quartet are all keen on the Zambia international forward.
The 22-year-old can play all across the frontline and is currently valued at around €20m. He is under contract until 2024 in Austria.
Daka has scored 27 goals, including 20 in 18 games for Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga as they march on for the league title.
He enjoyed another prolific campaign last season scoring 27 times and scouts have been attracted by his impressive numbers.
Daka was linked with Tottenham last summer, and he remains on the radar of several top clubs. Arsenal have also been credited with an interest in Daka, who arrived in Austria in 2017 from Kafue Celtic in his native Zambia.
West Ham were also understood to be interested in Daka in January as they looked for a replacement for Sebastien Haller.
It was suggested David Moyes may be helped by the fact Daka’s agent is former West Ham striker Freddie Kanoute.
Man Utd watching Akanji
Meanwhile, Manchester United have got numerous Borussia Dortmund stars on their radar ahead of this summer, claims a report.
It’s no secret that striker Erling Haaland is a favourite of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s. A number of sources have suggested the Norway No.9 is United’s top transfer target.
Solskjaer admitted last month he was “following” his compatriot and later said “let’s see what life will bring later on” when quizzed about the 33-goal striker.
But Solskjaer also has interest in winger Jadon Sancho. The club tried to sign the England winger last summer, but could not agree a deal with Dortmund.
Whether or not Solskjaer will pursue Sancho again remains unclear, but United also have Manuel Akanji on their radar.
90min report that Akanji is a “possible target in their search for a long-term partner for Harry Maguire”.
The 25-year-old Switzerland international is currently working his way back to fitness after a torn thigh. He played two minutes as a late sub in the weekend’s draw with Cologne after missing five weeks of action.
He has made 18 Bundesliga starts this season and in June he will enter the final 12 months of his contract.
