There has been little since to back those claims up. But it seems certain the German coach will look to shake things up at Anfield after a poor defence of their title. The Champions League is beyond the north Londoners while even the Europa League looks unlikely. Manager Brendan Rodgers wants to partner Bissouma with Wilfred Ndidi next season, according to The Mirror. It would add further strength to a midfield that is already packed full of talent. After beginning his professional career with Malian club Real Bamako, Bissouma moved to Lille in July 2016. He made 55 appearances in all competitions, scoring four goals and earned a move to Brighton in the summer of 2018. The youngster has thrived in the Premier League and seems destined for big things over the next few years.
