Paper Talk: Man Utd want star to join Leeds on loan and develop under Bielsa; Arsenal, West Ham eye Champ teenager Manchester United want to send a young star out on loan next season, with Leeds their pick of three interested clubs, while Arsenal and West Ham are keen to sign a Bournemouth teenager, according to Saturday’s transfer gossip. DANIEL JAMES TO BE SENT OUT ON LOAN Manchester United plan to send Daniel James out on loan to further his football education next season, according to a report. The winger has become something of a bit-part player at Old Trafford this season after falling down the pecking order. His game-time looks likely to be limited further following the introduction of Amad Diallo into the first-team fold. James was handed a rare start on Thursday night in the Europa League and enjoyed a very good game against Real Sociedad. He repaid Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s faith by scoring the fourth goal of the night. However, the Manchester Evening News claims United still plan to send him on loan next season to further his development. The Daily Star takes it further by claiming Leeds, Brighton and Burnley are all contenders to sign him. Indeed, it’s suggested United would prefer James to head to Leeds and benefit from the expert guidance of Marcelo Bielsa. The Argentine looks to be steering Leeds towards mid-table safety on their first season back in the Premier League. That’s despite him still having the nucleus of the side he inherited. Indeed, United feel Bielsa’s reputation for improving players would hugely benefit James. Leeds, of course, came close to signing James from Swansea back in January 2019. That deal fell through at the 11th hour and he eventually moved to Old Trafford. Leeds, who have benefitted from Raphinha’s wing brilliance this season, do retain an interest in James. However, they would likely only be interested in a deal were it to give them an option to sign James as part of the loan. DANIEL JAMES TO BE SENT OUT ON LOAN

Manchester United plan to send Daniel James out on loan to further his football education next season, according to a report.
