DE PAUL BID ON CARDS FOR LIVERPOOL Liverpool chief Michael Edwards is preparing to launch a £26m summer bid for Udinese midfielder Rodrigo De Paul, according to reports. Jurgen Klopp’s side have suffered a miserable run of form and the deposed champions face a tough battle to finish in the top four. Now the Express, via Tutto Udinese, claims sporting director Michael Edwards has green-lighted a £26m offer for De Paul. That will match the £26m offer apparently also on the table from Inter Milan. The report claims that while Udinese are willing to sell, they could try and hold out for their £34m valuation. But they claim the Reds are favourites for his signature with Klopp a huge fan and the player keen to move to the Premier League.
