However, Spurs have looked on an upward trajectory under Jose Mourinho of late. They are into the Carabao Cup final and currently sit above the Blues in the Premier League table. Indeed, the latter reason – with Chelsea currently eighth – formed part of their decision to part ways with Frank Lampard. In the end, I am very realistic, I am in a club whose DNA is to win. “I am here to challenge for every trophy we play for. This year it is the Champions League and FA Cup, for the Premier League it is not realistic.” Tuchel insisted that he is unlikely to make any new signings with what remains of the January transfer window.
