The teenager scored his fourth goal of the season as the Red Devils dumped Liverpool out of the FA Cup on Sunday. He has just one in the league this term but still has time to make a contribution. Solskjaer has already shown his support for the starlet and now offered some further words of advice. “It’s always a challenge,” he said. “Everything is a test. We talk about the second-season syndrome and if you take your eye off the ball for a slight second the Premier League is unforgiving. “I have always said that 99% effort is 100% failure. And of course players who ease off in training every single day a bit – I’m not saying this is Mason, I am saying it’s the case for every single one – it’s always a learning curve and test.” And the Norwegian seems convinced that he will soon start to turn the corner and become the player he should be. “It’s not just going to happen by itself,” he added. “He scored against West Ham a while back as well and was expected to kick on. “I’m very confident that Mason will chip in good performances and with goals and assists.” United outcast set for exit While Greenwood’s future is certainly at Old Trafford, Marcos Rojo is on the verge of leaving. That is according to TyC Sports, who suggest he is ready to sign a contract with Boca Juniors. The 30-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with Argentinian club Estudiantes. He returned to United in the summer but has played no part in proceedings this season. Estudiantes were said to want him back while River Plate were also linked – but that rumour has since been quashed. He is set to sign for two seasons at Boca with the option of a third after being allowed to leave for nothing.
