It’s certainly an ambitious list and, per the source, Hertha have missed all three with the wages out of reach for the Inter duo. While apparently Shaqiri, 29, had no interest in dropping into a relegation battle in the Bundesliga. Hertha are currently 14th out of 18 clubs and just two points clear of the relegation zone. Shaqiri, who was linked with a summer exit at Anfield, has struggled for game time this season. With Euro 2020 on the horizon, it was thought the Swiss midfielder could look to depart in January. According to Fotomac, he was considering a loan move to Galatasaray. The Turkish side were a potential suitor for Shaqiri last year. And Fotomac believed they could come back in for him this month. Shaqiri revitalised Niggling injuries have seen him sidelined and he missed a large proportion of November and December. But he has been involved in the last four Premier League games and started the last two. He has also been involved in the last two FA Cup games and within four minutes of his arrival against Aston Villa he had provided two assists to put the game out of reach for the Villans. “I’m fit again and back, I’m feeling good and I’m ready to play,” he recently told the Reds’ official website. “I’m looking forward to the next games and the second half of the season to try to help the team for a lot of achievement. I’m looking forward. “It’s normal if you are injured or you cannot help the team that you are frustrated. You are at home looking at your team-mates on the TV and you want to be there too.
