And now Radio Marca Lanzarote has confirmed that a ‘total agreement’ has been reached with Leeds over his permanent exit. Furthermore, they state that Mujica has ‘given his word’ to joining Las Palmas following several weeks of negotiations. And they state the deal should be formally announced before the weekend. It’s reported that Las Palmas will announce the deal once Pietro Iemmello’s exit from the club has been finalised. Signing a new midfielder remains high on Marcelo Bielsa’s wishlist. However, the Elland Road chief admitted last week that any new signings are likely to now wait until the summer. Fiorentina star Pulgar is currently assessing his choices amid uncertainty over his future in Florence. And Italian outlet La Nazione (via Sport Witness) is also wanted by Italian sides Cagliari and Sassuolo. The report adds that Fiorentina “aren’t sure about letting him go for two reasons”. No club has yet offered the player’s valuation of €13m (£11.47m). The lack of time to sign a replacement is also an issue.
