The fee for the 20-year-old was reportedly in the region of £7.2m, and it would appear that Lille are set to make a healthy profit. The report adds that a deal could be agreed for £27million, meaning that he won’t exactly come cheap for the Reds. However, Liverpool were reportedly willing to pay £45m before finding out about Lille’s financial situation. To that end, they have slashed their offer by around £18m in the hope of sealing somewhat of a bargain.
