PSG reportedly believe that Tottenham are finally ready to let Dele Alli leave the club during the January transfer window.
The midfielder’s future has been a talking point throughout the season, after he fell out of favour with Jose Mourinho.
The French giants made three loan offers for the 24-year-old before the summer transfer deadline.
The England star has since struggled to force his way into Mourinho’s plans, although he did feature in the recent league clashes with Crystal Palace and Liverpool.
However, Dele was missing from the squad altogether for the weekend loss to Leicester. That is despite nine subs now being allowed on the bench.
And the Daily Mail states that the player has received no explanation for his absence on Sunday.
That has seemingly encouraged the Ligue 1 giants to make their move, and they are confident of success this time around.
Despite not missing Dele’s playmaking ability this season, Spurs have lost their last two games – so there is still a chance that Mourinho could turn to the former MK Dons man.
But with attacking talent like Gareth Bale, Lucas Moura and Carlos Vinicius all pushing for game time, it might be Dele’s time to leave.
The attacking midfielder earns £100,000-a-week and Tottenham could palm off some of those wages with a loan deal.
A permanent exit seems highly unlikely in January, with a summer switch on the cards if Dele impresses on loan.

Spurs, United chasing Serie A ace
Manchester United and Tottenham are among the clubs interested in Nikola Milenkovic, according to a report.
Milenkovic has established himself as a key player for Fiorentina, where he has made 100 appearances since 2017.
The 23-year-old seems ready for a step up to a bigger club, and reports recently suggested Tottenham could make a move for him in January.
According to La Nazione (via Inside Futbol), though, they are not the only suitors for the defender. Man Utd also remain in the hunt.
Milenkovic was regularly mentioned as a target for the Red Devils in summer 2019. Those links have faded somewhat since, but the Italian newspaper claims that option is still very much alive.
Furthermore, his agents have already received some offers. Milenkovic has just 18 months left on his contract, so could be available for a modest price. Read more…
