£72.2M GREALISH TRANSFER
Shock news from Spanish outlet Todo Fichajes is that Manchester United are closing in on Jack Grealish.
United were understood to be interested in Grealish in the summer, but no bid ever materialised. Instead Grealish, who was yesterday banned from driving for nine months and fined a total of £82,499, signed a new contract.
With United fully focused on Jadon Sancho in the summer, Grealish signed a bumper new five-year deal at his boyhood club.
Now though the England international is reportedly in advanced talks over a move to Old Trafford.
Just how the Spanish outlet know is unknown, but United are said to have intensified their contact with the player in a bid to get a deal done next month.
United will have to pay £72.2m and they are willing to spend the money on the Villa skipper, who has five goals and six assists in 10 Premier League games this season.
Grealish is apparently keen on a move to United, per the source. Grealish has given the move the green light with the report claiming that now his club Villa need persuading to sell next month.
