He told a press conference: “What was upsetting was to see was that he was in a fair bit of pain and there was nobody around him when the injury happened. I didn’t like that element of it. “We have to wait and see what the scans show and we are all hopeful for him that it is not what it might be.” Sat next to him in the press briefing was Three Lions goalkeeper Nick Pope.
