The venue, which will bring the first and under-23 teams together, earned praise from Reds boss Klopp. “It’s essential, it’s absolutely important,” Klopp told the club’s official website. “Look, I’m the kind of coach who wants to be really connected with these boys. I want to know about them and I want to see them. I also want to give the other coaches the opportunity to watch our training. “It’s not a problem at all. We don’t have secrets in the club so whoever wants to watch a session of the first team can do that. “That’s one thing. The other thing is that we can watch sessions as well because we are eight, nine, 10, 11 hours a day at Melwood. Or now at Kirkby.
