TEAMtalk can exclusively reveal that Arsenal, Chelsea and Leeds Utd are battling it out to land AFC Wimbledon starlet Quaine Bartley.
The youngster is being tipped to make his first-team debut this season despite the fact he is just 16 years of age.
Bartley – released by Tottenham earlier in his career – was picked up by The Dons. Understandably so, the club believe they have a ‘gem’ on their hands.
A dominating figure, he can play as a No.9, but the promising teenager is far from a one dimensional player.
Bartley possess excellent feet and close control too, making him an almost unmissable opportunity for those seeking to bring him on board.
His progress has not gone unnoticed, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Leeds all aiming to secure his signature.
Bartley, though, is not pushing for a move despite the Premier League interest. He remains hopeful he could force himself into the first-team at the New Plough Lane this season.
Furthermore, it is understood he is already training with Glyn Hodges’ squad on a regular basis.
Arsenal on alert over Real Madrid ace
Meanwhile, Isco has made it clear to Real Madrid chiefs he wants to leave the Bernabeu in January amid speculation linking him with Arsenal.
Several reports have linked the 28-year-old with a move away from the Spanish capital in recent months; the speculation has chiefly arisen over a verbal attack on Zinedine Zidane over game time.
As such, Everton have reportedly shown interest in the past, although Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti has dismissed such talk.
Either way, Madrid were reportedly waiting for Arsenal – for whom Isco was a previous target – to rekindle their interest and create a bidding war.
And while Everton’s interest looks immaterial, reports on Friday claimed the Gunners were poised to make a January move.
Now it seems that Arsenal’s hopes of landing the Spanish playmaker have increased. That’s after AS detailed several factors that have seen the Spaniard tell Los Blancos he now wants out.
