Euro Paper Talk: Christian Eriksen set for Arsenal as Inter plot controversial swap; Man Utd keen to re-sign €35m winger Christian Eriksen has been offered to Arsenal with a surprise Gunners star set to join Inter Milan in a surprise swap deal, West Ham want two Real Madrid stars, while Man Utd are looking to bring a former winger back to the club, according to Tuesday’s Euro Paper Talk.   INTER OFFER ERIKSEN TO ARSENAL Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign Christian Eriksen from Inter Milan in January – and it won’t cost them a penny! Eriksen departed north London last January as Spurs’ efforts to tie him to a new deal failed. With time ticking away on his contract, Eriksen was allowed to join Inter for a fee of €20m. The move to Serie A, however, has not worked out as planned. Eriksen has struggled to adapt to the tactical demands of Antonio Conte. The Italian’s favoured 3-4-3 formation even looks to have stifled Eriksen’s game. With not one goal or assist this season, Inter are now willing to let the player leave in January. A bid to send him back to Tottenham appears to have failed after Daniel Levy rejected the offer. However, the Dane could find a new controversial home in Arsenal – with Inter asking to take Granit Xhaka in a straight swap deal. That’s according to Il Corriere dello Sport, who claim the highly-contentious swap deal could go through. They claim Arsenal are keen to make the move happen – with Eriksen providing the instant creativity their side has lacked. It would also give them an instant replacement for Mesut Ozil.   Xhaka, meanwhile, has rescued his Arsenal career over the past year and earned a fan in Arteta. But it’s claimed he could easily be sacrificed with the Gunners well stocked for tough-tackling midfielders. Both Thomas Partey and the rejuvenated Mohamed Elneny offer Arteta what he needs in that department. It’s claimed Inter could also ask Man Utd about swapping Eriksen for Fred or Nemanja Matic. But for now, il Corriere reckon a deal with Arsenal looks the most likely option.   Subscribe for free to TEAMtalk’s daily newsletter… JANUZAJ LINKED WITH MAN UTD RETURN Manchester United are keen to re-sign Adnan Januzaj from Real Sociedad. Christian Eriksen has been offered to Arsenal with a surprise Gunners star set to join Inter Milan in a surprise swap deal, West Ham want two Real Madrid stars, while Man Utd are looking to bring a former winger back to the club, according to Tuesday’s Euro Paper Talk.

INTER OFFER ERIKSEN TO ARSENAL

Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign Christian Eriksen from Inter Milan in January – and it won’t cost them a penny!
