Injury put paid to his progress last term but he looks to be at full fitness this time round. There has since been another addition to Solskjaer’s midfield, with Donny van de Beek’s signing. The Dutchman arrived from Ajax in the summer but has made a limited impact to date. That could soon change, though, with the 23-year-old reportedly informing Solskjaer he is keen to play anywhere in the team.
