They’ve thrown a lot of money at the problem but haven’t always bought the right players. “So, I think if you’re to analyse where Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Man Utd are right now, they should never be in the bottom half of the table.” United have gained just seven points from their opening five league games this season. Going into this weekend’s fixtures, they are down in 15th place in the Premier League. Admittedly, they have shown the better side of themselves in the Champions League. In their most recent game, they thrashed last season’s semi-finalists RB Leipzig 5-0. However, their domestic season has been plagued with inconsistency so far – and Solskjaer knows they will be in for a challenge this weekend.
