They will also cover his wages. Sky claim there had also been interest from Swansea, who saw their own loan offer rejected after not coming up with the appropriate fee. Reading, Bristol City and Derby – the latter having had him on loan before – were all also keen. There had also been interest from other Premier League teams, but they are no longer permitted to sign him – at least until January. However, regular football is essential for 23-year-old Wilson, who is therefore on the verge of a move to the EFL instead. Wilson one of five to make way?
