Euro Paper Talk: Klopp theory revealed, as Liverpool boss mounts interest in £63m winger; Spurs striker move revealed Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp wants a top Premier League winger at Liverpool, while a striker reveals firm previous interest from Tottenham – all in the latest Euro Paper Talk.   KLOPP WANTS PACEY WINGER AT LIVERPOOL Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp retains a strong interest in signing Wolves winger Adama Traore, according to a report. The Reds shuffled their attacking ranks in the recent transfer window, with both arrivals and departures. Traore’s former teammate, Diogo Jota, signed from Wolves for an initial £41million and Liverpool offset that fee with the £23.5million sale of Rhian Brewster to Sheffield United. However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Klopp still has his eye on another Wolves raid – for Traore. The 24-year-old made his Spain debut earlier this month, producing an electrifying 28-minute stint against Portugal. What’s more, he impressed on Tuesday despite La Roja’s 1-0 defeat to Ukraine. Mundo Deportivo claims that it is “logical” that Klopp would want Traore at Anfield because of several key traits. The winger’s ability to “open the most closed defence” is reportedly key in Klopp’s admiration, as is his determination and focus to drive forward with the ball and create chances. In any case, the Spanish outlet adds that Wolves would want €70million (£63million) for Traore. Molineux boss Nuno Espirito Santo has previously expressed doubts about the attacker’s future.   Subscribe to TEAMtalk’s daily newsletter…   AND THE REST FROM EURO PAPER TALK Wout Weghorst says he fielded serious interest from Tottenham earlier this year (Kicker) Joshua King has revealed the mental struggles he has faced in trying to find a new club (TV2) Barcelona did not try to hijack Liverpool’s move for Thiago Alcantara with a late bid (Mundo Deportivo) Arsenal have registered interest in Villarreal defender Pau Torres and could make a move in January (Todofichajes) Chelsea retracted their interest in AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma after signing Edouard Mendy (Calciomercato) The Blues also tried to sign Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan during the recent transfer window (TuttoMercatoWeb) Inter, however, are not yet considering a move for Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero (Fabrizio Romano) Meanwhile, Chelsea are considering a move for Juventus star Paulo Dybala (TuttoMercatoWeb) David de Gea retains the trust of Spain boss Luis Enrique despite his role in Tuesday’s defeat to Ukraine (Mundo Deportivo) Everton striker Richarlison has praised boss Carlo Ancelotti for helping him evolve as a forward (Globo Esporte) Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is keen on bringing Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to the Spanish capital (Don Balon) Zidane wanted Borja Mayoral to stay in Madrid, the now-Roma striker says (Marca) Paris Saint-Germain will demand Thibaut Courtois in return if Madrid attempt to sign Kylian Mbappe (Don Balon) Barcelona are in talks to cut their entire wage bill by 30 per cent amid the financial cost of the pandemic (Cadena Ser) Barca boss Ronald Koeman held a series of lengthy meetings to win over his new club (Sport) The post Euro Paper Talk: Klopp theory revealed, as Liverpool boss mounts interest in £63m winger; Spurs striker move revealed appeared first on teamtalk.com. - SPORT BETTING
