Juventus have offered Tottenham a star they think may tempt them to swap Tanguy Ndombele for, while a Wolves and Everton target wants a move to England, according to Friday’s Euro Paper Talk.
JUVE TRYING TO TEMPT TOTTENHAM WITH NDOMBELE SWAP
Tottenham could be offered the services of Federico Bernadeschi in exchange for Tanguy Ndombele, according to reports in Italy.
Spurs appear to remain uncertain on the Frenchman’s future at the club, despite the latest reports stating that they want him to stay.
The club’s record signing has found life in the Premier League tough, although injury issues haven’t helped his cause.
And now Calciomercato claims that Juve are ready to rest Tottenham’s resolve by offering Italy interntional Bernadeschi in a swap deal, as they cannot meet the asking price for Ndombele.
Former Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey has also been mooted as a swap option, but he has already made it clear that will not happen.
Bernardeschi joined Juventus from Fiorentina in 2017 in a reported £36m deal, but he has struggled for regular game time in Turin.
Last season he featured both as an attacking midfielder or right-winger. However, he registered just two goals and three assists in his 38 appearances.
Spurs boss Jose Mourinho was believed to have been chasing the 26-year-old when he was in charge at Manchester United, and has retained that interest in the player.
However, Mourinho has already turned down the chance to take Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan as part of an Ndombele swap, and in all likelihood will do the same with Bernardeschi.
