The French World Cup winner spent three seasons as Silva’s teammate in the PSG first team, in between a series of loan spells.   Fulham interested in Areola Elsewhere, though, Sky Sports claim that Areola is a transfer target for Fulham, who regained promotion to the Premier League this year. Fulham would reportedly like to take Areola on loan for the season. There is no room for the goalkeeper back at PSG, who have Keylor Navas and, coincidentally, former Fulham loanee Sergio Rico, as their current options in goal. Hence, the French shot-stopper is likely to leave in search of more gametime. And London could be a likely destination, after his wife revealed recently that they had bought a house in the English capital. Fulham can offer Areola a bigger salary than Rennes, who will need a strong goalkeeper if they sell Mendy.
