Jurgen Klopp has plan to replace Lallana that will save Liverpool millions Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp already has a plan in mind how to replace Adam Lallana in his first team squad for next season, claims a report. According to Football Insider Klopp will not make a new signing to replace Lallana, who is expected to leave Anfield on a free transfer in the summer. Instead Klopp will draft 19-year-old Curtis Jones into the first-team squad after “Jones’ huge progress this season”. There are high hopes at Melwood that Jones, who has made two sub appearances in the Premier League this season, will make the grade at Anfield with the source claiming “the Liverpool manager was blown away by the progress made by the teenager either side of the new year”. Klopp is understood to be a big admirer of the Liverpool-born midfielder and handed the youngster a contract until 2024 last August. Jones was thrown into the side over Christmas and scored twice in four FA Cup appearances, as well as  featuring twice in the Premier League and twice in the EFL Cup. Jones has also been excellent for Liverpool’s Under-23 side, providing nine goals and five assists in 14 Premier League 2 appearances and Klopp is convinced he can have an influence on the first team next season.       Former Liverpool striker John Aldridge is convinced Jones can save Klopp millions in the transfer market. “I’ve been watching Curtis for some years now since he was 15. And you could see – very much like Trent Alexander-Arnold – the potential that the lad had,” Aldridge told Sky Sports News. “He is just a quality footballer with natural ability and a good arrogance. He knows he is good and he does things the right way. “But the lad can be a star. I’ve always known that and now that he has been given a couple of opportunities by Jurgen Klopp things have come to fruition.” The post Jurgen Klopp has plan to replace Lallana that will save Liverpool millions appeared first on teamtalk.com. - SPORT BETTING
