He’s so cool and calm, he just gets on with things,” he told Sky Sports’ Championship podcast. “I spoke to Liam Rosenior at Brighton and they had absolutely no doubts that he’d adapt to this level. Andy O’Brien, who is a Liverpool scout, has watched almost every game of Ben White. The big teams are interested.” The Reds are likely to be in the market for a new central defender when the transfer window reopens with Dejan Lovren likely to finally leave Anfield this summer after a lack of first-team action.
