Liverpool, Man Utd, Man City alerted to drop in Fabian Ruiz’s price tag Fabian Ruiz’s price tag has been lowered to £52m with the Napoli midfielder looking set to leave Italy this summer, according to a report. The in-demand 24-year-old is one of Napoli’s crown jewels and club president Aurelio de Laurentiis had previously stated that they would only consider offers of £70m or above. However, Mundo Deportivo now suggest that De Laurentiis has knocked more than 20% off the asking price and lowered it by £18m. It’s unclear whether the coronavirus pandemic or the player’s desire to leave has influenced the decision, but there are a handful of clubs chasing the six-cap Spain international. Ruiz’s agent Alvaro Torres recently confirmed there is concrete interest from Real Madrid. Torres told Canal Sur: “It’s obvious that there are many important clubs that have asked about him, he has spent three years at a high level. “Yes, it’s true that Real has shown interest, we told Napoli. But right now, he must focus on his team. This summer, we will see. He is a midfielder who will mark an era.” Torres also recently revealed there was no release clause in Ruiz’s contract amid renewed transfer speculation from LaLiga giants Madrid and Barcelona. Ruiz though has been a target for a number of clubs across Europe, including Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City after his impact in Naples over the last two years.       In January both Jurgen Klopp and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer were said to be plotting moves for the talented 23-year-old with El Desmarque claiming Liverpool had switched their attention to Ruiz after failing to lure Isco to Anfield. Ruiz’s agent last month said “they will talk with the club at the end of the season about a renewal” but the reports from Italy suggest that Ruiz will move on with over three years left on his contract. Corriere dello Sport have name-checked Man City this weekend as suitors for the player, who has impressed in Italy after moving from Real Betis two years ago.     The post Liverpool, Man Utd, Man City alerted to drop in Fabian Ruiz’s price tag appeared first on teamtalk.com. - SPORT BETTING
