Euro Paper Talk: Three in, five out at Man Utd in summer overhaul; key update on Timo Werner future Manchester United are ready to offload five stars to fund moves for three big-money signings, while there has been a key development on Timo Werner’s future – according to Friday’s European papers.   ALL CHANGE IN MAN UTD SUMMER OVERHAUL Manchester United are reportedly looking to offload as many as five first-team stars this summer, with three big-money additions being added to the squad. According to reports on Friday, Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to bring in three of his top five targets – with Jack Grealish, Jadon Sancho, James Maddison, Jude Bellingham and Odion Ighalo all on his radar. Villa skipper Grealish is still said to be of interest to United, despite his recent lockdown blip, while Sancho remains at the very top of Solskjaer’s wishlist as the Norwegian looks to revamp his squad for next season. Maddison is a more expensive alternative to Grealish, while Birmingham starlet Bellingham is regarded as one of the most promising young talents in European football and is also wanted by Borussia Dortmund. Ighalo, meanwhile, has impressed since joining the club on loan from the Chinese Super League in January and although he would like to stay, there is currently no deal on the table for that to happen. As for the five players being tipped to be shipped out, they include Serie A loan duo Chris Smalling and Alexis Sanchez. Also expected to be moved on are Phil Jones, Jesse Lingard, and Andreas Pereira, who have all fallen out of favour with Solskjaer. The report adds that United chiefs and Ed Woodward are hopeful that the ‘valuations of players could dwindle’ that they want to sign, given the current climate, but regardless of cost – five players could be sold.       MORE EURO GOSSIP… Inter Milan and Juventus are both interested in signing Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele (Mundo Deportivo) Timo Werner has not made it clear he wants to leave RB Leipzig after this season and the club are “deeply relaxed” about his future, says CEO Oliver Mintzlaff (Sky Germany) Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin is a target for the trio of Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla this summer (Marca) Liverpool are leading the race to sign Schalke defender Malick Thiaw, with Jurgen Klopp already making contact with the player (Don Balon) Signing Lautaro Martinez from Inter this summer ‘will be easier’ for Barcelona compared to re-signing Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain (El Mundo Deportivo) Leicester City have initiated contact over the potential €25m signing of Real Betis midfielder William Carvalho (A Bola) Valencia will only sanction Tottenham target Geoffrey Kondogbia’s departure if his £61million release clause is met (Eldesmarque) Everton midfielder Bernard has emerged as a transfer target for Roma (Calciomercato) Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal has declined a high offer from China as he still desires to play in Europe (Calciomercato) Juan Miranda is set to return to Barcelona this summer with the second year of his loan deal at Schalke not to be carried out (Diario Sport) Atletico Madrid are the latest club linked with Napoli centre-forward Arkadiusz Milik, who is also wanted by Arsenal and Tottenham (Diario AS) Juventus have a plan to sign Fiorentina midfielder Gaetano Castrovilli (Tuttosport) Giacomo Bonaventura is expected to leave AC Milan as a free agent, with Torino, Roma, Fiorentina, Napoli and Atalanta in a bidding war to get his signature (Calciomercato)   The post Euro Paper Talk: Three in, five out at Man Utd in summer overhaul; key update on Timo Werner future appeared first on teamtalk.com. - SPORT BETTING
