Euro Paper Talk: Man Utd handed huge lift in bid to sign €85m Maguire partner; Everton chasing £70m double deal Manchester United have been boosted in their efforts to sign an €85m centre-back, while Everton are ready to spend £70m on two Serie A stars, according to Friday’s Euro Paper Talk.   MAN UTD GIVEN HOPE OF KOULIBALY DEAL  Manchester United have been reportedly given a major lift in their bid to sign Napoli star Kalidou Koulibaly this summer, after the Serie A side set their sights on the centre-back’s replacement. Reports on Friday claimed that the Italian outfit are ready to move for Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti, who has also been linked with a move to Old Trafford, if Koulibaly leaves. Umtiti has failed to live up to expectations in Spain after being beset by injury issues since his 2016 switch from Lyon. Koulibaly, on the other hand, has flourished into one of European football’s top centre-backs during his time in Italy and is currently valued at €85million. However, with Champions League football looking unlikely for Napoli next term, they will need to balance their books and could sell some of their top stars – including Koulibaly, with Umtiti considered a more affordable option.   That news is sure to alert Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who is desperate to pair the Senegal international with record signing Harry Maguire at the heart of United’s defence. But the Old Trafford club will also have to fight off interest from the likes of Real Madrid and PSG if they are to get their man this summer.   AND MORE FROM THE EURO PAPERS Barcelona and Tottenham could arrange a swap deal involving central midfielders Arthur and Tanguy Ndombele (Mundo Deportivo) Real Madrid have accepted they won’t be able to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe this year (L’Equipe) Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti is ‘planning a double swoop for Napoli midfielder Allan and attacker Hirving Lozano (France Football) Mikel Arteta’s hopes of bringing Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu to Arsenal have been boosted with the club open to selling him this summer (Voetbal International) Inter are interested in Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso and are considering signing the Frenchman in the summer (Calciomercato) Giorgio Chiellini and Gianluigi Buffon are set to sign new deals with Juventus, sources close to the club have revealed Olivier Giroud will leave Chelsea at the end of the season and join Inter on a free transfer (Corriere dello Sport) Leicester City are interested in Borussia Monchengladbach striker Alassane Plea (le10sport) Manchester United will only sell right-back Diogo Dalot for a fee of £35million (O Jogo) Juventus could terminate veteran striker Gonzalo Higuain’s contract (Tuttosport) PSG have prepared an offer for AC Milan left-back Theo Hernandez (Tuttosport) Both Barcelona and Roma are interested in San Lorenzo attacker Adolfo Gaich (AS) Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti believes Lautaro Martinez is happy at the Serie A club amid strong links to Barcelona Bayer Leverkusen coach Rudi Voller is keen to see Karim Bellarabi remain at the club beyond his current contract (Bild) AC Milan are hoping to sign Eintracht Frankfurt owned forward Ante Rebic in the summer (Calciomercato) Alaves striker Patrick Twumasi is attracting interest from clubs in Germany, Italy and Turkey     The post Euro Paper Talk: Man Utd handed huge lift in bid to sign €85m Maguire partner; Everton chasing £70m double deal appeared first on teamtalk.com. - SPORT BETTING
