Bellingham is 17 in June and that is when he can sign his first professional contract, but any prospective deal could now be delayed because of the coronavirus crisis and the likelihood of the season running into the summer.       According to Sport Bild earlier this month Borussia Dortmund were set to land Bellingham. Per the source, Bellingham was poised to select the German side, who picked up Jadon Sancho from Man City in 2017 for around £8million. That has not yet been confirmed, meanwhile Chelsea also remain locked in a battle with United over Sancho. Chelsea hope that Sancho can be persuaded to join Chelsea, the club he supported as a boy, and return to London rather than returning to Manchester, this time with United. Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is intent on nailing down his transfer business early after striking a blank in the winter window and a he could be ready to seal deals with five players. The same paper says Moussa Dembele and Nick Pope are on his radar, as well as Bellingham and Sancho, while reports from France suggest the club are close to signing €35million Gabriel Magalhaes from Lille.
