Bellingham not money-motivated in desire to join Man Utd over Dortmund Birmingham starlet Jude Bellingham is reportedly ready to sign for Manchester United for the love and not the money this summer. The Birmingham midfielder is being courted by the Red Devils, although there is a better offer on the table from German giants Borussia Dortmund. Dortmund are said to be determined to win the battle for Bellingham’s signature and are ready to pull out all the stops to land the 16-year-old, especially given that they have all but given up hope of keeping another United target in Jadon Sancho. As was revealed by the Daily Mirror last week, Bellingham is currently weighing up his options following talks with a number of clubs over his future. But the package put together at Old Trafford is less valuable to him than the cash on the table from the Bundesliga side. Bellingham has been tracked by almost every major club in Europe since breaking into the Birmingham team this season, but it is United and Dortmund who have shown their cards in the hope of getting a deal done. Dortmund, who got the better of the Red Devils when they won the race for prolific striker Erling Haaland, remain confident of doing the same again. However, it would appear that Bellingham has decided he wants to remain in England and take the step up to the Premier League – if and when football finally gets going again.     Meanwhile, Barcelona are reported to have put Antoine Griezmann up for sale, with United named as one of three clubs in the running to sign the France star this summer. The World Cup winner moved to the Nou Camp last summer when Barca met the €120m exit clause in his contract at Atletico Madrid, but he has not quite performed to the levels expected at the Nou Camp. Griezmann has, so far, scored 14 times and has four assists to his name from 37 appearances for the Blaugranes – but Sport states that he will be the major name sacrificed by the club this summer as they look to bring in transfer funds for a huge summer rebuilding programme.
