Arteta, meanwhile, began the first phase of his Arsenal rebuild in the January transfer window, signing Pablo Mari on loan from Flamengo. The defender’s loan deal is set to expire at the end of the season but the Gunners are expected to trigger the option to buy clause in the deal.
